  • 17,500 square metres of floor space for offices, cafés, restaurants and commercial areas on five floors
  • Leasing activities have already started
  • Completion at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020

Berlin, 11 July 2018: The real estate developer Townscape has been granted planning permission for its second office development in the Humboldthain Technology Park in Berlin. The new building with the project name ENTER is based on plans by the architecture firm RKW Architektur +.

The plot is located in Ackerstraße, on the corner of Max-Urich-Straße, in Berlin’s Brunnenviertel neighbourhood. Following the neighbouring office development GROW, which will be handed over to its new tenants in the summer, ENTER is Townscape’s second project in the Humboldthain Technology Park, which is situated on the border between the Mitte and Wedding districts.

Sebastian Grabianowski, managing partner of Townscape, reports, ‘The location in the Humboldthain Technology Park ticks all the boxes for us and we are therefore delighted to now be launching our second office development at this site. Given the high demand among potential tenants, we expect to conclude our first lease agreements in the near future.’

The plot covers a total area of 3,976 square metres. The building will contain five floors and provide a total floor area of approx. 17,500 square metres. As was the case with the sister project GROW, the layout of the office floor plans can be coordinated individually with the future users. The planning concept also allows for the flexible partitioning of the individual floors. The plot will additionally contain a car park with 43 spaces. Construction work on ENTER will begin in the third quarter of 2018, and completion is scheduled for the end of 2019/beginning of 2020.

This location looks back on a long industrial history. ENTER is situated in close proximity to the attractive brick building of the former AEG production facilities, which now houses companies from the world of media and other sectors. The area also still boasts excellent transport connections and is therefore a highly sought-after location. The so-called Humboldthain Technology Park is one of the strongest growing commercial locations in Berlin’s Mitte district.
