• Nilgün Bedir is the new project manager at Townscape
• The company is growing and employing more members of staff

Berlin, 22 June 2020: The Berlin-based real estate development company Townscape is continuing to grow and employed three new members of staff on 1 June. Nilgün Bedir (39) has now strengthened the project management team. The qualified architect (with a German ‘Diplom’ degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Buxtehude) was accepted into the Hamburg Chamber of Architects in 2016. In recent years, she has supported various Hamburg-based companies in projects involving new developments such as office and school buildings, hospitals and shopping centres. In these projects, she was responsible for managerial tasks such as implementation planning, overall project management, client liaison and support and specialist consultant coordination.

Henrik Sassenscheidt, managing partner of Townscape, reports, ‘Our company is continuously experiencing positive development and growing in terms of both the number and size of our real estate projects. Our team is expanding accordingly, and as a result, we relocated just a few weeks ago and now have twice as much office space at our disposal. As these latest additions show, we need the space! With Nilgün Bedir, we are delighted to welcome a project manager who can already contribute extensive experience from her professional career to date. Her move from the Elbe river in Hamburg to the Spree in Berlin will further boost our high-performance team.’

Nilgün Bedir laid the foundations for her professional career in 2005, when she completed an internship semester at Kenneth Holmes Associates (now Vagdia & Holmes) in the UK before moving to Masur & Partner mbH in Hamburg after graduating in 2007. In 2011, she took on the overall management and client liaison and support of several projects at the architecture firm Architekten B8 Ingwerson/Rapp GmbH in Hamburg. One of the tasks involved in this role was the tenant liaison and support for a store space for Apple in 2013, in which she was the direct contact for Apple’s UK division. Her most recent position was project manager at the company WITTE Projektmanagement GmbH (also in Hamburg), which she joined in 2017. Originally from Hamburg, Bedir has now moved to Berlin to strengthen the Townscape team.

The team also welcomed a project management assistant on 1 June, as well as a new face at the reception desk.
