A space for ideas

Berlin is booming. Germany’s capital city is just as attractive for investors, global players, start-ups and academics as it is for tourists and “Berliners” themselves. The eastern part of the city, in particular, is famous for being a creative hotspot, and it is at this very location in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district that we are implementing a new and modern office property.

The building we are developing on Revaler Straße is called THE B , and it will be just as vibrant and diverse as its surroundings – providing the ideal framework for modern forms of collaboration and creative exchange. The THE B’s architecture is also a reflection of this concept. It incorporates around 19,735 square metres of modern office space that is designed to be flexibly adapted to the tenants’ individual requirements. A generously dimensioned rooftop deck, recessed balconies on all floors, planted interior courtyards and co-working spaces create the ideal environment for idea sharing between colleagues, and also between employees of all the various companies renting space in the property. All of these interactive spaces benefit from the building’s maximum digital connectivity.

We aim to combine the analogue and digital worlds of work in the most efficient way possible in the THE B so that we can generate synergies and make smart technologies available to our tenants. We hope to achieve WiredScore certification for digital connectivity in this project, as well as a DGNB certificate in gold.

The distinctive honeycomb-like facade of the 6-storey THE B is an eye-catching detail that completes the beehive association, i.e. a place bustling with business activities where new things are continuously being created. The office spaces in the THE B will be supplemented by open-plan eateries and retail units on the arcade-like ground floor to encourage animated interactions with other people in the neighbourhood. With the nearby B1 and B96a motorways, as well as the Berlin Ostkreuz and Warschauer Straße rail stations, the THE B offers perfect transport links plus 74 car and 302 bicycle parking spaces for tenants.
