Mission accomplished! Right before the Easter holidays we successfully handed over our Lido project to the new buyer, HanseMerkur Grundvermögen AG. With the Lindenauer Hafen quarter development, an entire new residential district emerged in the west of Leipzig’s city centre. On the water, surrounded by nature and yet close to the city.

At the beginning of September 2016, we joined forces with Sassenscheidt Gmbh & Co. KG and beat a number of other investors in the race to secure a section (construction site no. 8). Since then, a lot has happened on the idyllically located meadow. Today, our four Lido buildings are harmoniously embedded in a row of other new residential projects.

Located directly on the Karl-Heine-Kanal and with many parks in the immediate vicinity, the new district offers a fantastic lifestyle. Those who need to walk their dog in the evening can stroll along the waterfront promenade, families with children will find playgrounds and daycare centres nearby, and there are many small stores, cafés and restaurants for a bite to eat or a spot of shopping. Our project offers a total of 72 apartments, which are now available for rent and waiting to become someone’s new home.

We are pleased that our gut feeling at the time was spot on, and we couldn’t be more proud and delighted with what we’ve created here. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved for the excellent collaboration throughout the entire project. Finally, we’ve really come to appreciate Leipzig and are sure that the Lido won’t be our last project in the city.
